Body Image Studio™ was created by Maria in October of 2005. The idea was to deliver the Mobile Spa concept such as events and therapeutic treatments in the comfort of a person's home. However, this idea was not as popular as when customers called and asked to set appointments to come to a “office location” vs. the mobile spa. So that is how Body Image Studio™ was born. The first studio was located in Crystal City, in Arlington, VA. The studio was cozy, friendly and offered very personable services. Customers were attracted to the small boutique-style and full attention that was very different than spas today, which treat customers like an assembly line moving them along and offering over-inflated prices for services.

Today, Body Image Studio™ is in Atlanta, Georgia. Its mission remains the same, to create a more one-on-one relationship with its customers and their needs. By specializing in individual treatments to reach their personal goal, be it weight loss from body wraps, using natural body treatments or just healing physical tensions with combinations of therapeutic massages.
